Transportation

It has been so nice to have the day off!  Just one day, but it was great!  With temps in Alabama around 80, the kinderkids are coming down with Spring Fever!  Having the day off gave me a little extra time to finish my Transportation unit and "Riding on the Bus" songbook (Jack Hartmann) and load them up to TPT.  Click on the images to see them.

Dr. Seuss Math and Literacy Activities

I have uploaded a new Dr. Seuss Mini-Unit with Math and Language activities for the big week! There are activities for real/nonsense words, addition/subtraction, Math journal prompts and a Kindergarten appropriate biography of Dr. Seuss. I hope you'll drop by my TPT store to see it! Statue of Liberty Freebie

Sorry it's been so long since I have posted!  You know... busy, busy, busy!  I hope you can use this Statue of Liberty printable.  It's free!  I plan to do this labeling page together, then have students use it to write about it on their own.

New Christmas Can

I know it's a little bit late for this year, but I wanted to show you all the latest can we made for our kiddos.  We have the cafeteria ladies save us those gigantic vegetable cans, then we (the K teachers) decorate them. The students carry all their holiday goodies home in them.  Aren't they cute?

Elf on the Shelf

For those of you who do Elf on the Shelf in your classroom, you've got to hear what happened! My elf, Elfie, and my neighbor's elf, Alvin, obviously had a big weekend! When we came in to school today, we found both elves with Pete the Cat and a camera! You won't believe the photos they took!

Another Farm Freebie!

Wow! This has really been a busy week! We have had a blast studying The Farm. My students used this survey to find out what our class' favorite farm animal is. They just put the survey on a clipboard, walked around the room, asked each other the question, then wrote their classmates names in the appropriate column. They loved it and did a great job of analyzing their data when they were done. Please don't forget to become a follower if you like it. (Sorry, it's really just one page. For some reason, I can't get rid of the blank page!)
