It's Good to be Back!

I hate to admit it, but I have really been useless since my summer break began!  I have taken naps and watched too much TV.  I have shopped.  I have played.  Now, I'm ready to get busy!  So, I am starting on a new unit for TeachersPayTeachers.  I should have it ready in a couple of weeks.  

I realized a few years ago that my students do not know nursery rhymes, so we have started doing a Nursery Rhyme unit during the first couple of weeks of school, before we begin our Reading series.  I am putting these activities into a beginning-of-the-year Nursery Rhyme Unit.  

Please leave comments about whether or not you use nursery rhymes early in the year.
